About this Event
Ever wonder who designs the buildings and cities of the future? Now's your chance to find out.
This isn't your typical summer camp. The UDC College of Agriculture, Urban Sustainability, and Environmental Sciences invites high school students (grades 9–12) to explore the creative world of architectural design at our FREE five-day Architecture Summer Camp. Over five hands-on days, students will sketch real designs, build physical models, and use cutting-edge tools like AI, laser cutting, and 3D printing to bring their ideas to life.
What You'll Learn:
- Architectural thinking: Explore space, form, and structure like a real architect
- Design process: Develop ideas through sketching and digital modeling
- AI-assisted design: Use artificial intelligence to generate and refine architectural concepts
- Digital fabrication: Bring your designs to life with laser cutting and 3D printing
- Presentation skills: Learn how to communicate your ideas visually and verbally
- Final project: Design and build your own small-scale architectural model from concept to prototype
Why Parents Love This Camp:
