About this Event
Buddha Amitayus is the Buddha of long life, wisdom and good fortune. In order to help us to overcome obstacles to our long life and good health we need to increase our lifespan and our wisdom, and the principal method for accomplishing this is the Yoga of Buddha Amitayus.
During this retreat we will engage in chanted prayers and mantra recitation to Buddha Amitayus – requesting blessings to help us to increase our lifespan, wisdom, and good fortune.
Everybody is welcome to attend any session of this retreat regardless of experience, however please not that it is unguided. Prayer booklets are available for loan during each session, and one of our volunteers will be able to chat to you about the practice if you're new to it.
Prayer Booklet used: The Yoga of Buddha Amitayus.
SESSIONS ARE FREE OF CHARGE, however please consider making a small donation upon arrival to support our activities in Singapore.
