Join us at Highfields Sports Complex for the opening day of the 2024/25 BUCS Super Rugby campaign as University of Nottingham take on Leeds Beckett in our first Headliner fixture of the year! Why not head down to support the University of Nottingham and take in an incredible live fixture during Freshers?!
Our Headliner fixtures showcase our top level teams and athletes, whilst also creating a fun and exciting atmosphere with entertainment provided by event partners and global brand Red Bull.
Paul Westgate's side will be playing at Highfields Sports Complex, a short walk away from University Park Campus and will be looking to make a strong start to their season. After promotion the #GreenandGold of Nottingham have established themselves as a competitive side in the highest level of University Rugby.
Kick-off is scheduled for 2pm.
Now in their third year of BUCS Super Rugby, UNRUC (University of Nottingham Rugby Union Club) will face Leeds Beckett in a fixture supported by Red Bull. Our Headliner series showcases the elite sporting talent representing the University of Nottingham in BUCS competition, right here on campus!
With global brand Red Bull's support, the series delivers Headliner events with superb spectator experience. From live DJ's to a fantastic atmosphere, this first Headliner of the year will be an event not to miss. The event, held during welcome week, is only a short walk from Halls on the edge of University Park and will feature an outdoor bar, food and refreshments area.
Getting to Highfields & Entry
The match will take place at Highfields Sports Complex, and due to a lack of parking, we encourage spectators to use public transport wherever possible as parking is by appointment only.
Gates open for the fixture at 12.30pm and you will be able to enter by scanning you eticket.

Carry-in policy
Sealed bottles of water and soft drinks, and personal size food items (e.g., a sandwich, crisps, piece of fruit) are all permitted. Strictly no alcohol is permitted to be brought into the complex.
Concessions
Food and drink will be available inside from various concessions stands. These operate via Cashless payment only (options include credit/debit cards).
Parking
Parking on-site is restricted and by appointment only and therefore there is limited parking availability at Highfields Sports Complex.
