ROUTE FOR SCOOTER RUN
Meet 1pm at Carnaby Street
Leave 1.10pm Head west to Regent Street.
Turn left at traffic lights onto Regent Street towards Piccadilly Circus
At Piccadilly Circus, take 1st exit onto Shaftesbury Avenue
Follow Shaftesbury Ave until the end and turn right onto A40 Theobalds Ave.
Continue into Clerkenwell Road and into Old Street.
Continue Straight over Old Street Roundabout (2nd exit) Vier Right onto
Great Eastern Street Turn left at Curtain Road.
Continue for 400 yards to The Strongrooms.
FREE PARKING INSIDE VENUE FOR SCOOTERS ONLY.
Scooter competition announced at approximately 3pm at venue entrance (Please stay with your scooter between 2-3pm if you want to enter)

Bikes over 40 years old do not have to pay. If your scooter is over 40 years old it qualifies for exemption automatically if you are registered with DVLA for the Historic Vehicle Taxation Class, which you should be if you already drive your scooter on public roads. Check your DVLA Logbook-V5 form or V11 Tax Reminder form for Taxation class info.
ALL newer scooters will be liable for the £12.50 charge unless you passed the emissions test and registered with TFL. More good news here: It Seems the standard PX 125/200/T5 will pass the emissions test:
