About this Event
Join performance artist and podcaster Peterson Toscano, and guests including Leo Lardie and Alexa Moore of the Rainbow Project for a live recording of Bubble & Squeak: a hybrid event that sits somewhere between a podcast, a performance, and a mischievous ideas laboratory.
Each episode blends uncanny sound design, funny interludes, and stories—most weird, many true. For this live Belfast recording, Peterson will be joined by local guests, alongside solo sketch comedy in which he inhabits multiple characters, a short sound slice set in Belfast, and other surprises that may include music or poetry.
Playful on the surface and serious underneath, Bubble & Squeak explores gender, faith, climate change, and civic imagination with humour and curiosity rather than certainty. Audience members are welcome to listen in quietly or take part as the mood strikes. No prior knowledge of the podcast required—just bring your ears, your wit, and a tolerance for thoughtful oddness.
Peterson Toscano is a performance artist, writer, and public communicator exploring politics, faith, climate change, and civic imagination across divides. Using humour and participatory storytelling, he creates spaces for difficult conversations about power, belief, and the futures we are shaping together.
