This year’s theme for the BSWC is The Bridge That’s Our Back, inspired by the anthology This Bridge Called My Back.

We’re building stronger alliances and real infrastructure — not just moments. Our goal is to create a sustainable community practice and space that can carry us into 2026 and beyond.

The bridge doesn’t hold itself up. We do.

If you believe in collective work, shared responsibility, and building something that lasts, now is the time to step in.
