Get your heart pumping with BSTR!
Join us for our Memorial Day Weekend community bike ride at South River Park on Sunday, May 24th. This is a great opportunity to kick off the holiday weekend with movement and fresh air as we exercise for heart health. Since May is Mental Health Awareness Month, come join us for a ride to clear your mind, enjoy the local scenery, and keep your heart strong with a great group of people.
The Ride
We will meet at South River Park (1200 W 1700 S, Salt Lake City) at 9:00 AM. We’ll be riding along the Jordan River Parkway Trail, which offers a beautiful and scenic backdrop for our morning ride.
- Skill Level: Beginner-friendly and relaxed.
- The Route: Mostly flat and paved ( 12-15 miles )
- Bikes: All bike types are welcome: road, mountain, cruiser, or hybrid.
What to Bring
- Helmet: Required for all participants.
- Water: Stay hydrated!
- Attire: We recommend dressing in comfortable layers and wearing athletic shoes.
Community and Connection
At BSTR, we believe that staying active and building strong community bonds are key to a healthy lifestyle. After we finish the ride, please stick around for refreshments, snacks, and fellowship with the group. It’s a great chance to meet new people and enjoy the morning together.
