Please make sure you receive an email with your ticket when you register
Please verify your email address when you are registering. If the email is invalid, we cannot send you a ticket. If you do not receive an email with your ticket shortly after you register, please contact registration through EventBrite's "Contact the Organizers" feature prior to the day of the event to get things straightened out.
Same location for 2026!
All activities for the weekend will be located at the Sheraton Baltimore North, on the first and second floor conference spaces. Enter the hotel by the Conference Center doors, which will be clearly marked. They are the doors immediately adjacent to the parking garage entry gate. Registration will be just inside the doors.
Are there ID requirements or an age limit to enter the event?
There are no age limits for BSidesCharm 2026. However, most, if not all material will be geared towards those over 16. All children must have a badge and those under 12 must be accompanied by an adult guardian at all times. There will be a Saturday night event at the hotel where you must be at least 21 to drink alcohol (ID will be required at the bar).
On Sunday only, kids will be allowed to shadow their parent(s) at BSidesCharm 2026! Parents will not need to purchase a badge for the kid, but they must remain together while in event spaces. We are defining kids as anyone who is not a legal adult, this is 17 years of age or fewer.
What are my parking options at the event?
If driving, there is a very large parking garage attached to the Sheraton Hotel, but not managed by the Sheraton. Garage height is 6'6". There is a daily parking fee. Parking costs are fully separate from event registration. More details will be available on our official venue page.
Where can I stay Saturday night?
We will have a block of discounted rooms at the Sheraton. We will announce the reservation link via our website - www.bsidescharm.org.
What can/can't I bring to the event?
Please bring a positive attitude, a willingness to listen to others, and a strong desire to learn.
All forms of smoking (tobacco, vaping, e-cigs, etc.) are prohibited in the venue. Designated smoking areas are available outside of the venue.
The venue also requests that no outside food be brought into the conference spaces.
Is my registration/ticket transferrable?
Tickets may be transferred to others. To transfer a ticket, the original ticket holder must log in to Eventbrite and change both the name on the ticket and email address to match the new ticket holder.
Do I have to bring my ticket to the event?
YES, please have a scannable ticket with you as you arrive at the venue. You can print it out. You can have the ticket pdf on your phone. Just make sure that it is somewhere where we can scan it. Present the ticket at the registration table to pick up your event badge and materials.
What is the refund policy?
Refunds will NOT be granted. If you have a ticket that you no longer need, there will always be people looking for tickets.
Who needs a badge?
Everyone who wants to attend any of the BSidesCharm events, including the Saturday night events must obtain a 2026 badge. Badges must be visible at all times within the event spaces. Those refusing to wear an event badge will be asked to leave.

What if I forget or misplace my badge?
Replacement badges will be available for purchase at the registration table for $40.
How do I get into one of the training courses?
If the registration code in your training email does not work then this means that training for those classes has been sold out. You can continue to try the code at future dates in case a seat has been cancelled. In the event that a seat is not made available, we do allow conference attendees, without confirmed training registrations, to line up outside the training classroom before the class. We typically have some no-shows, so often some folks lined up in the stand-by line will get into the training. This line is first come, first served so we recommend getting there early to have a shot at getting into the class.
