Wisconsin singer-songwriters Bryant Switzky and Melissa Kieler are sharing the stage for an evening of songs, stories, and banter. They’ll trade off performing their own songs and collaborate on a few numbers too.

Bryant is a Verona-based singer-songwriter who performs soulful acoustic music that blends folk, blues, Americana, and pop. With clever lyrics, soaring melodies and passionate vocals, his music appeals to fans of Brandi Carlile, Jason Isbell, and the Lumineers. He uses his percussive guitar style and live-triggered harmonies to make his solo shows sound like he’s got a band behind him. Bryant rejoined the Madison-area music scene in 2023 after 20 years away in the Twin Cities and Washington, D.C. His songs have been recognized more than a dozen times in national and international songwriting contests, and his latest album and songs from it were finalists for four Madison Area Music Awards in 2023. Ear to the Ground music named him as one of “three emerging artists in the Americana and alt country scene that you need to have in your life.”

Melissa is an eclectic folk/rock/alt/pop singer-songwriter-instrumentalist with a powerful, soulful voice. Based in Monroe, she brings a passionate dynamic to the stage, and with it, a pinch of snarkiness and a dollop of dad jokes. Melissa is unlike any singer you have ever heard. Her unmistakable sound has been compared to performance legends Melissa Etheridge, Adele, Alanis Morrisette, Amy Winehouse, Lady Gaga, and Bishop Briggs. Melissa knows how to entertain. Unbounded, her voice tells a story - effortlessly moving between genres with grace and style. She’s also a true music dynamo. Whether playing piano, rocking the bass, ripping on guitar, or incorporating offbeat instruments like the melodica and vibraslap, Melissa's diverse instrumental skillset paired with her limitless vocal range makes her a force to be reckoned with.
