This 3-session course introduces students to foundational traditional drawing skills while guiding them to use AI as a creative thinking and ideation tool, rather than a replacement for hand drawing. The programme emphasises observation, sketching, and personal expression, supported by structured AI prompts to expand imagination and concept development.
Learning Outcomes
- Strengthen foundational drawing skills through traditional media
- Learn how to use AI responsibly for brainstorming and visual ideation
- Develop original concepts from idea generation to finished drawing
- Build confidence in observation, composition, and personal expression
This course encourages students to think creatively, draw authentically, and use technology as a supportive tool, bridging classical art foundations with contemporary creative workflows.
Schedule:
- Wednesday: 11am - 1.15pm, 1.30pm - 3.45pm
- Thursday: 1pm - 3.15pm, 3.30pm - 5.45pm
- Friday: 11am - 1.15pm, 7.30pm - 9.45pm
- Saturday: 6.30pm - 8.45pm
