About this Event
Join Us at the Brookhaven Presbyterian Church Financial Literacy Course!
The Brookhaven Presbyterian Church Financial Literacy Course teaches that financial management is ultimately a matter of the heart, emphasizing biblical stewardship, the responsible use of God-given resources to fulfill God-given purposes. Through six interactive units, participants explore foundational principles such as recognizing God’s ownership of all things, living within one’s means, giving generously, avoiding unnecessary debt, maintaining financial margin, and planning wisely for the future. The course also addresses practical topics including budgeting, lifestyle choices, taxes, saving, investing, and long-term financial planning. Using discussion, personal reflection, and hands-on budgeting exercises, the curriculum equips participants to make sound financial decisions while growing in personal responsibility, generosity, and overall financial wellness.
