Daventry Museum invites you to celebrate SCIENCE with a day of free, fun for all the family.
Everyone's invited to our ๐๐ฟ๐ถ๐๐ถ๐๐ต ๐ฆ๐ฐ๐ถ๐ฒ๐ป๐ฐ๐ฒ ๐ช๐ฒ๐ฒ๐ธ ๐๐๐ฒ๐ป๐ on Saturday 8th March between 10am - 4pm.
This yearโs theme is ๐๐๐๐ก๐๐ & ๐๐๐๐ฃ๐ง and we have lots of fun experiments and interactive activities for visitors to enjoy including:
โข Paper Plane Making & Flying Trials
โข Changing Fleece to Felt
โข Slime Making
โข Planting Seeds
โข Creating Paperchain Snakes
We will also be joined by the Amphibian Reptile & Insect Association (ARIA) who are bringing along some friendly amphibians, reptiles and insects. Visitors can meet these fascinating creatures and learn how they change and adapt to survive.
Our outside area will be hosting demonstrations and talks throughout the day. Meet real life Engineers to learn about technology changes and Archaeologists to learn about how humans have adapted over history. Plus, have a go at โdiggingโ for archaeological finds!
Drop in between 10am and 4pm to take part in some free, science themed fun! No need to book, just come along on the day.
Make sure you grab yourself an activity pack when you arrive, complete it and hand in for a chance to win ARC Cinema Vouchers!
