Escape the hustle and bustle to join us on this peaceful walk from the quaint village of Newnham through open pastures and rolling fields to Everdon Hall. This gentle walk is steeped in history, with tales of poets, politicians and even a ‘hobbit’ house! In the months of January/February the verges are awash with snowdrops and there may even be an opportunity to enjoy a spectacular carpet of snowdrops in a ‘hidden’ location.
Since there are 9 stiles (no dog gates) this trail is suitable for small dogs only.
There are no toilet/refreshment facilities en route but there may be an opportunity for a drink/lunch at The Romer Arms (Maria’s Kitchen) after the walk (subject to opening days/hours).

Please arrive by 9.45 am we will set off at 10 am sharp. If this is your first AG walk, then please arrive nice and early and seek out the walk leader who will be wearing a red "walk leader" pin badge.

-We walk in all weathers, however, if we have a weather warning then the event may be cancelled. Keep an eye on your emails and the Facebook event page for notifications of any cancellations.
-We supply free sweets at the halfway stage - we call this "squidge and dip" - hand sanitiser, then dip in for your free sweets.
