About this Event
Rev your engines and join us at the Simeone Museum on Saturday, July 27th, from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm for an exhilarating Demo Day celebrating the legendary British car designers Laurence Pomeroy, William Heynes, and Ted Cutting. These trailblazing visionaries transformed the British car market, pushing the boundaries of technology in their relentless quest for mechanical perfection.
Admission is $15.00 for adults, $12.00 for seniors 65 and older, and free for all children under the age of 18.
Featured collection cars will include:
- 1921 Vauxhall 30/98E
- 1938 Jaguar SS-100 3.5 Litre
- 1958 Aston Martin DBR1
Museum guests will have the opportunity to witness these legendary vehicles up close, learn about their unique design elements, engineering breakthroughs, and racing histories as well as seeing them in action as they are demonstrated on our 3 acre outdoor tarmac.

Our Demo Day schedule is as follows:
- 10:00 | Simeone Museum doors open to the public
- 11:15 to 11:45 | Discussion on the technology behind the cars
- 12:00 to 12:30 | Visual presentation highlighting rare photos and videos from the Simeone Museum Library and Archives
- 12:30 to 1:00 | Spirited driving demonstration of Demo Day cars
- 1:00 to 2:00 | Visitors are able to inspect and photograph Demo Day cars up close while engaging in a question and answer session with Simeone Museum staff and volunteers
