British Championships: An Evening with Sonic Fireworks

A must for fireworks lovers: experience the British Firework Championships, Plymouth, with Sonic Fireworks. On the evenings of Wednesday 13th and Thursday 14th August 2025, enjoy a VIP experience watching the Champion of Champions firework competition.
Enjoy the best view in the city from the Corinthian Clubhouse with fine food, live entertainment and previous championship winners, Sonic Fireworks there to give you the lowdown.
A Fun Packed Evening
Throughout the night, the Sonic Fireworks team will be on hand for commentary, insights, and to answer your questions.
6:00 pm – Doors open. Mingle with fellow fireworks enthusiasts, soak up the vibrant atmosphere, explore the interactive firework exhibition, and be spellbound by the masterful close-up magic of Graham Prigg.
7:00 pm– A fascinating presentation from Sonic Fireworks team, sharing behind-the-scenes insights into the art of pyrotechnics and the history of the championships.
7:30 pm – First live set from the sensational Buffy May, from Pocket Full of Groove, singing classic feel-good songs.
8:00 pm – Delicious buffet served, with relaxed background music.
8:30 pm – Second entertainment set, including a fun fireworks quiz with a prize and a second set from Buffy May.
9:00 pm – 10:30 pm – Live stream of the official championships broadcast on screens, keeping you updated with all the action.
Enjoy the displays at approximately 9:30 pm, 9:50 pm, and 10:10 pm, with spectacular views from the private balcony or through large picture windows.
10:30 pm – 11:30 pm – Background music, informal networking at the bar. Stay, relax and let the crowds and traffic ease before making your way home.
