About this Event

About the event

This three-hour course takes place on and off-road, including areas of traffic. Our qualified instructors teach groups of up to 6 children to develop essential cycle skills and confidence. Your child must be able to ride without stabilisers to attend.

You will need to complete a booking for each of your children separately.

About the Bikeability Level 3 course

This advanced training for children aged 11+ takes place in more complex traffic environments. Our instructors will support children to build the skills to cycle wherever they want, whenever they want. To attend, your child should have completed Level 2 and be a regular cyclist.

We cover how to

  • Check your cycle is roadworthy
  • Use the best riding position for any situation
  • Ride alongside other cyclists
  • Ride on more complex roads
  • Negotiate more complex roads. For example, junctions controlled by traffic lights, multi-lane roads or cycle lanes
  • Respond confidently to changing hazards on the road

Bikeability Level 3 should only be booked once your child has completed Bikeability Level 2.
