About this Event
The film marks the 650th anniversary of the Bristol Charter. In just over 65 minutes David takes a very personal look as some well known, and not so well known, episodes in the history of the city including: Bristol at war, Civil War and World War, riots and rebellions, the story of Bristol castle, its churches, its docks and its Concorde. It includes famous names: Harry Brown and Tony Benn, Hannah More and Rolinda Sharples as well as not so famous ones: Marge Evans and Anny Kennie. It's a tongue in cheek sweep through almost 1000 years with something for everyone, well almost everyone.
The film screening is to raise funds for the North Bristol and South Gloucestershire Food Bank Recommended ticket donation, £5.
