Brief interventions in youth mental health (in-person)
The Brief Intervention Toolkit (BIT) is an evidence-based intervention for young people experiencing mild-to-moderate mental health conditions.
Orygen is excited to offer training for individual professionals (mental health clinicians, psychologists, social workers, occupational therapists, youth workers, general practitioners, practice nurse and secondary school nurses, etc.) looking to upskill in the Brief Intervention Toolkit.
This training package provides unique experiential learning to deliver the toolkit in practice and implement it in your organisation.
The one-day training will cover:
- introduction and overview of BIT,
- screening and measuring outcomes in BIT,
- using modules in practice, and
- scaffolding modules and using them flexibly.
Date: Thursday 9th October 2025
Time: 9:30am – 4:30pm
Where: Orygen Youth Health (35 Poplar Rd, Parkville VIC 3052)
Cost: $275 (including GST) per person, catering included
