About this Event
Regulatory rulemaking is one of the most important steps in turning policy into action to protect our air and health. Many agencies include public participation in their rulemaking proceedings and are required to address public comments in substantive ways. This means participating in rulemaking is one of the most impactful ways to make sure environmental justice and climate are taken into account when decisions are made.
Telling a compelling story with your comment is vital, as personal stories are often the most compelling for lawmakers. However, storytelling for public comment can be a difficult skill to learn, which is where this workshop comes in.
Join us at this Regulatory Advocacy Skills Workshop hosted by Bridgeport Environmentalists and Sierra Club Illinois to learn how to write effective comments using narrative tools and storytelling!
Lunch will be provided.
