The Nebraska Children’s Commission is the driving force behind improving child welfare and juvenile justice in Nebraska.📣 Our committees are the backbone of the Commission’s work, diving deep into specific child welfare and juvenile justice topics.
This committee advises on the Bridge to Independence (B2i) Program, which provides voluntary services and support to young adults who age out of foster care before achieving permanency. Their work helps ensure these youth have access to the resources they need to build a stable future.
🗓️ The Bridge to Independence Advisory Committee of the Nebraska Children’s Commission has scheduled a meeting on Tuesday, April 28, 2026, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., to be at the Sarpy Conference Room, Lower Level, Nebraska State Office Building, 301 Centennial Mall South, Lincoln, NE 68509.
🤝 Every level of engagement welcomes public participation. Whether you want to attend a meeting, contribute your expertise, or simply stay informed, your voice matters. We invite you to attend this meeting and help improve child welfare and juvenile justice in Nebraska!
