Rian Johnson's Knives Out series of films have become recognized world wide for their innovative and yet loyal takes on the Agatha Christie style of M**der mystery. But in the beginning there was Brick. Basically a student film, Brick is a hard-boiled, film noir detective movie with a twist. All the action takes place in and around a California high school with a cast playing students embroiled in a M**der over the mysterious treasure known as The Brick.
