Born in Oregon to an Irish American musician father, Brianna McGeehan started playing and singing when she was five years old. She has studied music in places as far flung as Tanzania and India as well as traditional western contexts, and was classically trained on piano and voice as a child. In her twenties she picked up the guitar and started writing songs. After a decade of recording and touring under the moniker Pretend Sweethearts with her musical partner and husband, she is embarking on her solo adventure. This new sound is a departure from the Americana of her musical past, drawing on grunge, electronica and of course Celtic folk.
Laura Jane Vincent is a performer, multi-instrumentalist, and singer-songwriter. She writes ballads of strength loss and triumph featuring stories of those who should know better but just simply can't help themselves. She lives in southeastern NC in a 200 year old farmhouse with her husband and bandmate, drummer Dave Tippetts. She was named by the Triad Music Festival AMPD Expo as songwriter of the year for 2017. She is the creator and curator of the twice annual music festival Glendonfest. Established in 2016, the event features 25+ regional and national touring acts over two days in the spring and fall.
