Age Range: Adults 18 and older partnered with youth ages 10-13.Note: Please wear a shirt that is of natural fibers, jeans, and shoes that completely cover feet. Safety gear will be supplied.
Experience the excitement of welding together in this 2-hour introductory class designed for pairs of one adult and one child, ages 10-14. Led by Mixxer Resident Artist Thaddeus Prevette, this hands-on session provides a fun and safe environment for families to explore the basics of welding.
Each child must be partnered with an adult (age 18 or older), and together you’ll learn essential welding techniques, safety protocols, and the basics of metalworking. This class offers a unique opportunity to bond while discovering a new skill.
**Note: A legal guardian must sign a waiver for the participating child. No prior experience is necessary—just bring your curiosity and enthusiasm!
