Just recently returned to Minnesota after 21 years in Hawaii and 6 years in Japan, Brian von Ahsen is very excited to share his original songs (and a BUNCH of stories if you like) with the patrons of Ginkgo Coffee House for the first time. Brian has been focusing mostly on recording for the last several years but playing solo for a live audience has always been his greatest joy. His percussive playing style and lyric-driven songs create a playful vibe that run the gamut from sweet love to dark cynicism with a touch of humor tossed in for flavor. Enjoy.
