Join us this Memorial Day weekend for the inaugural Brew the 802, a uniquely Vermont craft beer festival celebrating local brews, artisan vendors, live entertainment, and the community spirit that makes the Green Mountain State special. This brand new event is sponsored by Joe Doud of Vermont Mortgage Company and Will Hurd of Coldwell Banker Hickok & Boardman.Led by the South Burlington Recreation and Parks Department—the team behind beloved regional events including SB Night Out (~1,250 average attendance), Illuminate Vermont (4,000+ attendance over two nights), the Fly By 5K (500+ runners from 50+ cities and towns), and the Spotlight 802 Speaker Series featuring national figures like Mat Fraser and Donna Carpenter—Brew the 802 brings that same welcoming, community-first spirit to a brand new celebration.
Set in a relaxed community festival atmosphere, Brew the 802 is designed to be welcoming for everyone. While showcasing some of Vermont’s best breweries and cider makers, the event will also feature local food vendors, artisan vendors, a live DJ, and entertainment for all ages, making it a perfect stop for families, friends, and visitors spending the holiday weekend in Vermont.
Whether you're a craft beer enthusiast, a local supporter of Vermont makers, a marathon spectator in town for the weekend, or a family looking for a fun community event, Brew the 802 offers a taste of Vermont that everyone can enjoy.

Tickets: Each adult ticket will receive ten (10) 4 oz. sampling tickets and tasting glass upon entry.

*All attendees must have an entry ticket to access the event. Brew the 802 is a family-friendly event open to all ages. Guests wishing to sample alcoholic beverages must present a valid photo ID at check-in to receive a 21+ wristband and sampling tickets.
