Join Laura Bales and the wonderful women of Her Mana for a somatic breathwork and live sound journey, a space to come back into relationship with yourself.
We’ll gather at the StarHouse, a space held by nature and intention, to drop out of the noise of daily life and into something more honest and present.
We’ll begin with a guided somatic breathwork journey, inviting you into deeper contact with your body and whatever is present. This is not about forcing release or changing your experience, but about staying with what arises and allowing your body to respond in its own way.
As the breath unfolds, you may notice sensation, emotion, or subtle shifts moving through you. You’ll be supported to move at your own pace, honoring your nervous system and letting the experience be exactly as it is.
From there, you’ll be held in a live sound journey with the women of Her Mana.
Her Mana is the collaboration of vocalists and composers Kate Robberson and Emilie Basez. Weaving together folkloric melodies, ritual percussion, and contemporary compositions, they create immersive sonic landscapes that move between English, Spanish, and Portuguese. Their performances feel less like a show and more like a living ritual, where sound becomes a vessel for memory, intimacy, and transformation.
As you rest and integrate, their music offers a space to continue the journey inward, allowing the body to soften, process, and settle in its own time.
The women of Her Mana are based in Austin, Texas and are visiting Boulder while opening for Elephant Revival’s Bonnie Paine at the Fox Theater. We’re honored to share this intimate evening together at the StarHouse.
