About this Event
Grief lives in the body and sometimes talking about it only helps so much. During this session, you will be guided through gentle, breathing techniques that activate the body so that it can release the tension and grief you feel in your body without having to talk about it.
This event is for someone:
- At least 6 months out from the death
- Who prefers not talking about their grief story or the details around what happened
- Who wants relief from the heavy emotional weight of grief
- Comfortable being a space with other people who are grieving
This event is NOT for someone:
- Who wants to talk about the grief
- Who experienced a recent death under 6 months
- Who needs the support of a therapist
This practice and being in community provides a therapeutic space; however, this is not therapy or group therapy.
