Kumbhaka Breath is a variation of conscious connected breathwork and a profound tool that leads “the willing” into “non-ordinary states of consciousness.” It’s the simple act of consciously pulling the breath for a prolonged period of time. This practice assists us in integrating unprocessed emotions and memories by bringing to the surface what gets to be resolved on a somatic level. Small amounts of naturally-occurring DMT in the body is released throughout the session. The experience ranges from a deeply cathartic release, to a one-with-God blissed out state. Your breath has the power to transform patterns and habits and can align your mind, body, and heart. This method is an accelerator for healing, creating fast and sustainable results.
What it looks like:
We breathe for 45 consecutive minutes while being entranced with the frequencies of various instruments. Chants, drums, and high-frequency bowls embedded with crystals are played throughout. Various techniques are woven in & out of the Breathwork Journey to keep the energy flowing seamlessly. Toning, retentions, and bodywork are offered to assist you in going deeper. We leave ample time for integration to allow the nervous system to rest & for the body to absorb the frequencies of the singing bowls. The journey is concluded with a sound bath and a sharing circle.

We open our container with a short guided meditation to ground ourselves in to the space.

This is followed by light movement to get into the body which lays the groundwork for the journey ahead.

We have limited spaces and our classes always sell out so please reserve your space via registration on Eventbrite to save your spot and receive the address of the event. We have a no refund policy, but in case you can't make to the event for any reason you can use the credits towards the next one. If you feel the call and don’t have the funds, please reach out though email or Instagram (@brazil.rebirth & @titaespindola) so can work an energy exchange out. No one will ever be turned away for lack of funds.

- Address of private location will be shared through email with additional logistic info in the morning of the event day, once your spot is reserved.

- Bring a yoga mat, a small pillow, a light blanket, and a water bottle.

- Fast 1-2 hours before as it’s uncomfortable to breathe on a full stomach.

As a precaution, the following conditions are contraindicated for anyone thinking of practicing Active Breathwork:

* Pregnancy first trimester

* Detached Retina or Glaucoma

* High Blood Pressure (not controlled with Medic*tion)

* Cardiovascular disease including angina, previous heart attack or stroke.

* Diagnosis of aneurysm in the brain or abdomen

* Uncontrolled thyroid conditions and diabetes

* Respiratory Issues / Asthma

* Epilepsy / Seizures

* Prior diagnosis of bipolar disorder, schizophrenia or previous psychiatric condition.

* Hospitalisation for any psychiatric condition or emotional crisis within the last 10 years.

* Any other medical, psychiatric or physical conditions which would impair or affect ability to engage in any activities that involve intense physical and/or emotional release.

It is crucial that you consult your healthcare provider before engaging in an Active Breathwork practice if you are unsure if it is a suitable practice for you.
