About this Event
Join us for breakfast as we celebrate the one-year anniversary of Bread for the City's Workforce Development Café.
Launched one year ago with a three-day open house, the Café introduced community members to a wide range of career services. Since then, it has become a vibrant hub for job seekers—connecting individuals to employment opportunities, hands-on training and skill-building workshops, and personalized career coaching.
The space offers a welcoming drop-in environment where visitors can access computers, explore job postings, get help with applications and résumés, and attend employment-focused classes offered on a rotating schedule.
This gathering will be our first in-person Breaking Bread since the pandemic and will include breakfast and a panel conversation. Together, we’ll reflect on the Café’s first year and hear from community members, partners, and funders about the difference this work is making in building lasting careers and stronger futures.
