About this Event
Join us for breakfast at Nagas and discover our current exhibition of works by Véronique Wirbel (1950-1990). This presentation offers an opportunity to revisit the work of a singular and still under-recognized artist whose practice moved between Surrealism and Art Brut.
Wirbel's work is quite singular, shaped by her childhood in West and Central Africa and her travels in Latin America. Her paintings are populated by animals, hybrid figures, masks, and fragments of handwritten text. She built a poetic universe of myths, magic, and rituals.
We would be delighted to welcome you for a relaxed morning at the gallery and the opportunity to experience the exhibition in a more intimate setting.
