Welcome to the Bread to Beer Tapping Party with Odell Brewing & We Don't Waste!

Join us on Friday, April 11th 2025 from 5PM to 8PM at Odell Brewing Sloan's Lake Brewhouse & Pizzeria for an evening of delicious brews to support a great cause.

This unique event brings awareness to the critical issue of food waste through the tapping of a specialty ale "Wheat Don't Waste" brewed in collaboration with Odell Brewing Co., We Don't Waste, and Rebel Bread. This specialty ale has been brewed using surplus sourdough (shoutout to Rebel Bread), representing just a fraction of the surplus food recovered locally by food-recovery nonprofit We Don't Waste each week.

This event is free and open to the public! Bring friends and neighbors to try the Wheat Don't Waste Ale, learn about We Don't Waste, and how you can take action in the fight against food waste. We're here to enjoy a great beer and spread the word about food waste and local food insecurity.

We Don’t Waste believes nutritious food should go to people, not landfills. We reduce food insecurity and food waste in the Denver area by recovering quality, unused food from the food industry and delivering it free of charge to food pantries, schools, shelters, and more serving those in need and directly to the community through Mobile Food Markets. We also educate our community on the importance of nutrition and reducing food waste to protect our planet, while advocating for increased food access. Since 2009, We Don’t Waste has recovered and distributed more than 230 million servings of food to nonprofit partners and individuals facing food insecurity.
