ABOUT ELCIO
Elcio's drumming career started in 1977. Since then he collected a lot of experience filled with an endless list of concerts, recordings and tours.
His education began at the School of Orquestra Sinfônica Brasileira along technical improvement training with Christiaan Oyens and later with Cássio Cunha. Currently Elcio offers lessons in Rio de Janeiro.
His vast resume includes playing/recording with are Chico Buarque, MPB4, Edu Lobo, Francis and Olivia Hime, Nara Leão, Eduardo Dusek, Ritchie, Ed Motta, Kleyton and Kledir, Lulu Santos, Flavio Venturini, Pepeu Gomes, Amelinha, Miele, Ivan Lins, Cassia Eller (recorded the first 2 discs & played with her from 1990 to 1996 ), Boca Livre, Dionne Warwick, Simone, Rosana, Japeri Connection, River Sound Machine, John Bosco, Aricia Mess and Pedro Luis Zeze Mota, Miúcha , Luiz Melodia (CD & live DVD " Luiz Melodia Convida " ), Roberta Sá (DVD & live CD "Pra Se Ter Alegria"), Marcos Ariel, Raul Mascarenhas, Hector Costita, Antonio Adolfo, Luciano Alves, Duo Phenix, Joyce Collins, Bill Cunlife (recorded CD “Bill in Brasil”), Eric Marienthal, Daniel Marques and many others...
Cafaro also loves rock music and plays with BAD COPS, one of the best The Police cover bands.

Brazil Selection Event in Cologne, Germany during the 2006 World Cup with the Berimbrown groups, Naurêa and Jorge Benjor
European tours with guitarist Daniel Marques between Sweden, Finland, Denmark, Germany, Czech Republic, Lithuania and Russia.
