Brandon Commodore began his professional music career at 19, quickly making a name for himself as a dynamic and versatile drummer. In 2006, he joined the Grammy Award-winning Sounds of Blackness as a touring drummer, followed by a global run with the legendary R&B band Mint Condition beginning in 2008.
By 2010, he expanded into writing, producing, and leading his own band, evolving into a respected bandleader and music director. He has since worked extensively with artists including Stokley, Prince’s New Power Generation, Paul Peterson, Steve Cole, and jazz vocalist Ginger Commodore, while also developing skills in live show programming using Logic Pro and Ableton Live.
Now stepping into his own spotlight, Brandon prepares to release his debut EP This Is 40 in late September—a soulful fusion of jazz and hip-hop that reflects two decades of growth, artistry, and creative leadership.
