Uptown’s free street festival will bring Nikau Street alive, vibing with a main stage of duos, bands and DJ, roving performances, giant games, skateboard demonstrations, markets with diverse food offerings, and coffee from our local cafes. The festival will have a dedicated children’s zone for craft making with plenty on offer for kids.
Bring the family, drop in for lunch, catch some music, laugh with the roving performers – it’s all happening on Nikau Street at the top of Mt Eden Road.
This free community event is brought to you by Link Alliance and Uptown Business Association. Nikau Street lies 30 metres from the top of Mt Eden Road, between The Corner Store and Ray White.
It will be closed off to traffic and transformed between 9am – 3pm on Saturday 12 October into a free street festival with markets, live music, food, fashion, performance, crafts for kids and lots more.
Join us for this free community event celebrating the arts, local businesses and the vibrant city neighbourhood on the rise of Uptown, home to the newly developed Maungawhau Station.
