About this Event
Join us for a curator-led conversation with Sadaf Padder featuring artists Baseera Khan, Amanda Phingbodhipakkiya, and Nyugen E. Smith, exploring the role of art in shaping our relationships to diaspora, materiality and the eco-human continuum.
The event will conclude with an immersive soundscape performance by violinist Natie Barret-Mas, a Creole musician from Réunion Island and founder of Kreol Fest. The performance will incorporate sounds recorded from the forests of Cap Rouge, captured during the curator’s stays with Grown in Haiti, creating a layered sonic environment that bridges place, memory, and ecological presence.
