About this Event
In the first of three exclusive screenings, the cast and crew of BOTTOM FEEDERS are ecstatic to be working with Brooklyn Art Haus for their FIRST and ONLY screening in New York.
SYNOPSIS
Dmitri, a twenty-year-old sex addict, squats in an abandoned garage with his mentally ill father, shamelessly using the kindness of an old friend who’s returned home for Christmas break as a means of escape and pleasure.
Set during a blistering winter in Northeastern Pennsylvania, BOTTOM FEEDERS is a gritty and raw examination of sex addiction, poverty, and mental illness. Using visceral cinematic language and a cast of first-time actors, this dreamy tale is the ultimate portrait of destructive pleasure.
