VV Pete is emerging as one of the most distinctive and electrifying voices of Australia’s new wave of rap. The Sydney-based rapper and singer blends razor-sharp hooks, booming club beats and global dance influences into a sound built for international impact. Early comparisons to Missy Elliott, Ice Spice and Lizzo followed the worldwide breakout of her 2022 debut single Bussit, which entered rotation on legendary New York hip-hop station Hot 97.
