Join DC Bird Alliance for a special performance by BORBS, the Philadelphia-based ensemble blending jazz, free improvisation, and urban ecology through sound and place.
Hosted at Temperance Alley Garden, a temporary outdoor classroom, community gathering place, and shared backyard stewarded by members of the U Street Neighborhood Association and Farm The District since 2021, this unique experience invites participants to slow down, listen deeply, and connect with the urban environment in a new way.
BORBS is known for immersive performances inspired by migration, habitat, city soundscapes, and the natural world, creating music that feels both spontaneous and rooted in place.
Come experience an evening of creativity, community, and listening outdoors in one of DC’s most intimate neighborhood green spaces.
