About this Event
This mini gardening course is suitable for children ages 5-11 years.
The course runs across 3 weeks and is available both in March and April. The course will be held in the beautiful woodlands of the Barn Elms Sports Trust (opposite the Wetlands Centre).
Dates: Saturday March 8th, 15th & 22nd
Time: 11am-12pm.
Venue: Barn Elms Sports Trust
Tickets: Cost is for the course not individual session. Booking is essential.
Activities includes:
Week 1. make a usable wormery
Week 2. make a wildflower welly
Week 3. sow a tray of colourful vegetables and fruits
These activities aim at increasing children's understanding of the benefits of sustainability and the impact that each garden activity will have in their growing spaces.
Equipment provided and all children to dress appropriately for the weather.
