A native of Atlanta, GA, Steven has spent the past 30 years as an advertising copywriter, weaving stories of intrigue of all lengths and seriousness for leading global brands across TV, radio, print, and digital media. Staring at the Ceiling, Crane's debut novel, is a gritty mystery thriller with a surprisingly spiritual undercurrent. Based loosely on Steven's time in Columbia's vibrant alternative music scene of the 1990s, the novel is accompanied by a limited-edition vinyl LP celebrating 11 Columbia music artists of that era. Crane is also the author of I Can Appreciate That, a memoir of gratitude, exploring the massive blessing hiding in life's most difficult challenges. Steven lives in Marietta, GA, with his wife Carie.
