Please join us for a Toronto launch of Law at Work: The Coercion and Co-option of the Working Class by Harry Glasbeek. This thought-provoking book uncovers how the legal system, through its structures and mechanisms, legitimizes and reinforces the exploitation of workers.
At this event, author and renowned legal scholar Harry Glasbeek will unpack how law has been used to ensure that workers' aspirations are kept in check, encouraging the audience to envision a future where the law truly serves the interests of all. The book launch will entail a short lecture by Harry Glasbeek, a Q & A session with the audience, and light refreshments afterwards.

Bio: Harry Glasbeek is professor emeritus and Senior Scholar of Osgoode Hall Law School, York University. He has taught in both Australia and Canada and has written 140 articles and 12 books. He lives in Toronto, Ontario.
