About this Event
Enjoy a slow and sociable Saturday with this relaxed, all-ages swap space for curious minds and crafty hands. Whether you’re into reading, sewing, gardening – or just fancy a browse and a blether – this is a gentle place to share what you’ve got and discover something new.
Bring along books you’ve loved, fabric you’ve been hoarding, or seeds from your garden or windowsill. No pressure though – you’re just as welcome to turn up empty-handed and see what catches your eye and leave with something new to read, sew or grow. The joy’s in the swapping, the stories, and the wee surprises you didn’t know you were looking for.
Across the afternoon, the Pavilion becomes a cosy treasure trove: pages waiting to be turned, fabric waiting to be transformed, and seeds waiting to grow. It’s perfect for easing into the weekend, meeting folk, and leaving with something that sparks a new idea – whether that’s a story, a stitch, or a sprout.
This event runs as part of City of Poets Takeover of Knightswood Pavillion as they make February the COOLEST month.

About February is the COOLEST month
Often called the cruelest month, February, with its dark nights, cold mornings, and that slow drag toward Spring. (unlike poet T S ELIOT who famously declared it to be April…)
For four weekends, the Pavilion in Knightswood Park becomes a hub for storytelling, sharing, learning, laughing, swapping, reading, crafting, and meeting new people who love words just as much as you do.
Whether you’ve been writing for years, just starting out, or simply enjoy being surrounded by creative energy, you’re welcome here.
