Eiren Caffall presents All the Water in the World
In conversation with Kelly McMasters
Eiren Caffall, musician and author of the memoir The Mourner’s Bestiary, presents her debut literary thriller All the Water in the World at Greenlight! Set partly on the roof of New York’s Museum of Natural History in a flooded future, All the Water in the World is told in the voice of a girl gifted with a deep feeling for water. Inspired by the stories of the curators in Iraq and Leningrad who worked to protect their collections from war, this novel is both a meditation on what we save from collapse and an adventure story—with danger, storms, and a fight for survival. Joining Caffall on-stage is nationally bestselling author Kelly McMasters (The Leaving Season and Welcome to Shirley: A Memoir of an Atomic Town), for an in-depth discussion on the book, followed by an audience Q&A and signing.
