Black Love. On Feb. 13, 1993, Ayo Handy-Kendi, a community organizer and native of Washington, D.C., created the holiday to celebrate communal love and pride in being “unapologetically Black.” (Program will consist of Black Love Music, Black Love Poetry, Testimony of Black Love with couples(Doesn’t Matter who you Love-We welcome Heterosexual and LGBTQIA2S Couples, and children expressing Black Love. If anyone is interested in being g part of the Black Love program on Thursday, February 13, 2025 Please inbox me. We are currently looking for couples and young people who want to participate.
