David Gessner presents The Book of Flaco: The World’s Most Famous Bird
As the one-year anniversary of Flaco's passing nears, New York Times bestselling author and nature writer David Gessner presents The Book of Flaco, the story of the Eurasian eagle-owl who escaped from Central Park Zoo and captured the hearts and imaginations of millions of followers around the world. A parable of freedom, wildness, and our urban ecosystems, Gessner chronicles the year-long odyssey of Flaco and the human drama that followed the owl. Gessner will be reading from the book before proceeding with a brief, in-depth discussion and Q&A, followed by a signing.
