Boogie For Mental Health

Emotion Solidarity is a project creating awareness of intersectional mental health.

Our first Boogie For Mental Health was a sold-out success and we are excited to create another fun, safe and informative space. This evening, taking place during mental health awareness week will celebrate our mental health with spoken word, live music performances, DJs and speeches.

Tickets

Due to the cost of living crisis and wanting to ensure we are being inclusive to all. The tickets are a donation scheme, but this includes Eventbrite's small processing fee. Because of this, you can only order one ticket per person at a time. We do ask you to be honest about what you can pay for a ticket, we are a grassroots organisation and don't make a profit and do not get paid for our time. We need some income for this event to cover the cost of the venue hire and we also are paying our performers and people working on the night their fees. We recommend donating £10-20 if you can but we understand that isn't possible for everyone.

Please get in touch if you would like to donate your ticket to someone or if you can't pay Eventbrite fees.

With any profit, we will put this back into our project and will be giving a percentage to Queers For Palestine.
On the night, please bring your Eventbrite PDF ticket to your phone (save the planet).
Each ticket puts you in a draw for the raffle (back by popular demand!)

Accessibility / Safety

The venue has gender-neutral toilets and the venue is fully wheelchair accessible.
This is a safe space for all and discrimination in any form will not be tolerated. Any discrimination or harmful behaviour will not be accepted and you will be removed from the event.
'Guardians' will be wearing high-vis armbands. These are people you can come to if you need any help. If you feel anxious or overwhelmed, please come and find us. The venue also has an outdoor space for fresh air. We can come out with you - we are 100% here for you!

Travel

We would recommend using public transport where possible.
Overground/Windrush Line
The venue is a 4-minute walk from Haggerston station which is on the Overground/Windrush line.
Bus

Many buses go near the venue such as the 149 which is a 20-minute journey from London Bridge.
