About this Event
Class Description
Instructor: Lauren Harris
Big, bold red wines. There is no denying that this genre of wine is luxurious, decadent, and sexy. So join us as Tria's Wine Director, Lauren Harris, breaks out six heavy hitters for your sipping pleasure.
Who can say no to a rich, velvety mouthfeel when temperatures drop in January? Allow dark, intense fruit flavors, paired with the undeniably strong tannins of bold reds carry you across the finish line of winter. Besides, big reds age more gracefully than most of us will! The players include Cabernet Sauvignon, Zinfandel, and Shiraz – we could go on, but aren’t you a tad distracted by your mouth salivating? Let’s explore where the big boys come from, how they are made, and the various manifestations of big red awesomeness.
Come with an open mind and palate. As always tasty Tria snacks will be served and we encourage you to join us for Tria's Happier Hour, from 4 to 6 pm before class!
Bottles will be available for sale after the class.
