Body Prayer is a monthly Sunday morning of 5Rhythms movement magic. Together we weave a sacred space for creative communion, sweaty revelation, collective connection, and a poetic pause between the end of one week and the beginning of the next.
All are welcome here: all bodies, races, religions, genders, sexual orientations, abilities, and movement experience.
Accessibility: This studio is regretfully not wheelchair accessible. There are several stairs leading up to the main entrance. There are no additional stairs to enter the 1st floor studio. Our search for an accessible home for this class continues, and we welcome venue suggestions. Please note if you dance in a wheelchair, Layah's Wednesday and Saturday 5Rhythms classes are held at the wheelchair accessible Roncesvalles United Church.

LAYAH is a healing artist, a dancer, mother, and musician. Her 5Rhythms facilitation is infused with expressive enthusiasm, a fascination with the weave of ritual and improvisational art, and a reverent love of creative practice as a transformational and political act. A movement facilitator since 2003, Layah is a member of the International Conscious Movement Teachers Association, and is a certified 5Rhythms teacher accredited with the 5Rhythms Teachers Association.
