Who is Andi Hansen?
Andi’s dancing is playful, creative, and partnership-focused, emphasizing musicality, body awareness, and personal expression. In her classes, she encourages exploration of different blues styles while helping students feel comfortable and discover joy in their own movement. Primarily a follow but also a lead, Andi competes, creates solo and partnered choreography for events like Sweet Molasses and bluesSHOUT!, and shares her love of blues through teaching and local organizing. Based in Grand Rapids, MI, she enjoys traveling to events with friends and spreading the joy of dance.
