We are going to play music from the Classic Blue Note recordings 1950s/1960s representing a “golden era of jazz.” We’ll pay tribute to albums like John Coltrane’s Blue Train (1957), Art Blakey’s Moanin’ (1958), Herbie Hancock’s Maiden Voyage (1965), and Horace Silver’s Song for My Father (1964), showcasing quintessential hard bop and post-bop.
